Of course I don't have an answer to this one (and hence the exclamation point) but I always wondered how ISIS still manages to earn about 1.2 Mil (estimated) by selling Oil in the black market. Crude oil, between 25,000 and 40,000 barrels a day, is pumped from oil fields in Syria and Iraq. It has to be transported via pipelines or auto transport to the black marketeers. Then there is the transport, refining, measurements, invoicing, & recovery.
Also the logistics of distributing guns/armaments, fuel, food, water, manpower. How is all this still being sustained while being bombed by US, Europe, Russia from the skies ?
This article throws light on these issues but also makes one confused/angry/kind of amused about the ridiculousness about the whole thing. The complicity of the people and states involved makes you want to puke.
